The CPC20112 Certificate II in Construction provides students with the knowledge and skills needed for an entry-level position on a construction site. Throughout the course students will learn how to assist with the building and repair of structures, including works to subdivision and land development, renovations and the prefabrication of building components.
For students looking to progress into a more specialised filed, a number of the units of study from the CPC20112 Certificate II in Construction can also crossover into related Certificate III qualifications available in our Skills Recognition Programs.
Construction Trade Qualifications (CTQ) will provide you with the skills needed to succeed in the building and construction industry. If you want to kick-start your career in the building and construction industry, then this is the course for you!

Duration and Delivery
This class is offered as face-to-face delivery, running for 17 weeks.
To achieve this qualification, the candidate must complete 15 units of conpetancy:
– 10 Core Units and 5 Elective Units
One unit may be chosen from Certificate I, II or III qualifications in CPC08 or another current Training Package or accredited course, provided the integrity of the AQF alignment is ensured, and they contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome.

The CPC20112 Certificate II in Construction is being offered under the Smart and Skilled program, which is a reform of the NSW Vocational Education and Training (VET) system. Smart and Skilled funding is helping people in NSW get the skills they need to advance their careers. You can determine your eligibility for Smart and Skilled training via the Eligibility Checker .
Prior to being accepted into this course as a Smart and Skilled student, you will need to contact CTQ for a finalised eligibility entitlement quotation. Please note that enquiring about the Smart and Skilled subsidy does not guarantee you a position within this course.
All fee paying students are required to pay a $500 deposit prior to course commencing. No payment above $1,500 is allowed due our standards. Students have the option of a payment plan by Ezidebit.
